He grabbed the mail on the way in. Tossing it, the keys, and his phone on the counter, he turned the game on. Hockey was such a great distraction to have back. Covid was beginning to sap his spirit. It was a large picture window. The bright morning sun shone invitingly through it. There were no houses across as it overlooked the ravine. For a city house, it had a quiet privacy.
