I don't consider I was expressing ire or indignation. I had a reaction to the story which I found disturbing but was not dismissive. I shared my reaction and asked to understand the thinking and purpose she had in writing it. Particularly so since a year or two she wrote something indicating that she had moved away from her involvement in domination and even her attitude towards to the extent of saying that she had come to regard it as harmful.
    I wondered how that view and this story co-existed in her spiritual universe and sought to have an exchange about it. Of course, I quite understand if she doesn't want to engage in that discussion. That is her right.
