    COVID-19 and John Wayne

    ( I am not the author of these words. But I hope they are informative. )

    In American myth we all imagine ourselves as the one who against the odds stands alone and triumphs. Just like John Wayne as Rooster Cogburn, who takes the horse’s rains into his mouth, with Winchester in each hand, charges the outlaws and guns blazing kills the Parmalee brothers.

    In Real Life, Rooster Cogburn would have had four bullet holes in his chest before he could have said “Giddy-up Horsey”.

    Same is true with our response to the COVID-19 epidemic. The self-styled conservatives see themselves as the John Wayne type heroes who can ‘ride-out’ any tribulations and single handily stand victorious on the other side of the calamity. Unfortunately that mentality, so far, caused 254,000 fatalities in US and 1,340,000 Worldwide. The virus does not care if you’re John Wayne or John Nobody. It’ll kill you just the same.

    Think about this, when you’re dead, you’re no good to anyone. Therefore, take off your cowboy hat, get off your horse and practice the rules which will keep you alive. You’re worth more alive than dead and your family will love you.

    I am not vaccinated and i am still alive , i had corona virus 2 times and i was not so bad like other people are telling it. Iam ok and verry healty , and im stil looking forward to get my wife to fuck black guys and get me cuckolded.

    To not get vaccinated is moronic and the epitome of selfishness…as we surge past 1 million deaths, almost all of whom didn’t get vaccinated FOR FREE! And those unvaccinated who did survive, likely  passed the disease on to others who did not survive. Way to go, selfish Republicans!!!

    now its 6 mo. later, still holds true.  REP. assholes about 1/3 of them figured it was cheaper to let people die than shut down the country. AD part is Fla. and Texas are no worse % than the rest of the country.

Higher education gives the individual a set of tools enabling an independent decision.     Why is it that Americans seem to have such a problem wearing a mask when they go shopping or out for a coffee? They'd die if they lived in Europe, some countries, like England where I am is pretty much locked down. You can get a takeaway but no bars, cafés or restaurants are open otherwise. Shops are closed unless deemed essential and you know what, very little protest or dissent because we recognise that this virus is serious and needs to be brought under control and the R rate reduced. Wear a f*****g mask and respect your fellow countrymen.

    to milf4bbcstretch : , most if not all sensible people are in favor doing anything to prevent yourself and most importantly the ones around from harm. I rarely pay any attention to those who spit mistruths and dog whistle’s to other like minded people. There’s virtually no way to convince them otherwise regardless of the facts, they will die on that hill for their beliefs, unfortunately they will also take other innocent bystanders with them. I enjoyed your John Wayne analogy. ?
